Decisions as a set of "Pages"
From an administrator's perspective, an Ethelo Decision can be thought of as a set of various types of Pages where participants can engage on. Each page fulfills a certain function and together all the pages support the configuration design of a particular Decision.
The administrator can design their Decision to match their objectives and construct the kind of consultation experience they would like participants to have. The flexibility of the platform allows for the configuration of a diverse set of Decisions, ranging from simple surveys to complex budgeting decisions.
To configure the kind of Decision they envision, administrators have a set of pages they can use. Below is an example of a common layout of Pages used in previous Decisions along with the type of Page utilized:
| Decision Pages | Type of Page |
| Welcome Page (explaining the objective of the Decision) | Information page |
| How To Participate (explaining how to participate on the platform) | Information page |
| Demographics Page (gathering information about participants) | Survey page |
|
Voting Page (where participants vote on options)

| Understanding Results (explaining how to understand results) | Information Page |
| Survey Results (participants can view survey results) | Survey Results Page |

Note that the above layout is only one possible layout of pages, which does not include all of the available pages that Ethelo supports. A Decision does not have to follow this configuration and can include more or less pages as well as different kinds of pages.
