Creating a New Decision

Create a new Decision by going to the Decisions Panel and clicking the "Create" button. This will take you to the admin panel where you can insert a title and a description for your Decision. Finally, click "Create" and then "Update" at the bottom of the page to save your changes. 

Decision Title

Once created in the admin panel, the Decision Title appears on the top-left of the browser, next to the project icon. The DecisionTitle also appears in the Decisions Panel, along with Titles of all the other Decisions. 

The Decision Description appears in the Decisions Panel alongside the Decision Title. The Decision Description may also appear in the right-hand side column of the browser if Decision Info Sidebar is turned on in the Sidebars Tab for a given page.

To edit the project title and description on the admin panel navigate to Appearance>Basic Settings

Some good naming conventions: 

  • Keep the project title short but meaningful 
  • If using dates in the project titles, use the same format everywhere
  • Avoid unnecessary repetition and redundancy in titles

Decision URL

The URL of the Project will take the form of https://NAME.ethelo.net, where NAME is a unique identifier for the Project. For example, if you create a project named Mark, it will take the form: https://MARK.ethelo.net.

To edit the project URL on the admin panel navigate to Appearance>Basic Settings>Subdomain

NOTE: NAME cannot contain spaces or special characters.
