The Single Option Voting page is for creating a specific kind of voting page that enables participants to vote on every Criteria for a single Option. In this page you can customize the background content, which gives an overview of the criteria being voted on, as well as customize the sidebars.
Note that the actual Criteria and the Options associated with them cannot be customized on this page.
You can customize these by clicking Voting on the Admin Panel menu, then click Options or Voting Criteria.
Follow this path to access Single Option Voting Page:
Pages >Edit or Create a Single Option Page by choosing the page type 'Single Option Voting' and click Next at the bottom of the page.
Single Option Voting Page sections
Center Content, Sidebars, Order Criteria and Comments:
Center Content
In the Center Content folder you can choose which Option you would like to use for this Single Option Voting Page by clicking on the drop-down menu Option* (this cannot be left black). Choosing an Option will automatically display the group of Criteria associated with the Option.
The default Title and URL for this page will be the Option title and the Option identifier respectively, but you do have the ability to customize both if you wish to do so.
This folder can have up to 2 content blocks: one near the top of the page, and the other at the bottom of the page. In between the content blocks, Voting widgets for all Criteria associated with a given Option will be available for display on the browser once you have completed configuring this page.
Sidebars
In the Sidebars folder, you can choose to include info panels for participants to receive additional instructions as well as a voting summary. After filling out the information you would like participants to see, make sure you click the box Use This Sidebar to render the sidebar effective.
Order Criteria
In the Order Criteria folder you can set the order of the Criteria that will be displayed on your Single Option Voting Page.
Comments
In the Comments folder you can choose to include a comment box on either the right side of the page, or on the bottom of the page. We have set up default titles for your comment boxes, but these can be customized. Comments boxes can also be included next to each one of the Criteria, and titles can be customized here as well.
